We are an animal rescue located in Southern Virginia that specializes in finding just the right family for each little feline friend in need. Our on-site historic log cabin is the perfect place to stay while getting to know us and your potential match.
When you're ready to add a kitten or cat to your family, give us a call or email. We'll talk about what you're looking for. Are you a young, single and taking responsibility for another life for the first time? Are you a young family with kids looking for a tolerant and snuggly pal? Is your ideal companion more aloof and independent?
Once we have an idea of your needs and a vision of your home, we'll match you with your perfect pet. You will make arrangements to pick up your pet from our home in Chatham, Virginia. If you book a stay in the cabin, you'll have time to get to know the kittens, enjoy some relaxation, and take your time making this decision. Once you've made your committment, you'll go home with a new family member, and a complete kitty care package to get you off to a great start. During this time, we'll help you make sure your home is ready for your new addition, and all your questions have been answered.
Unfortunately, not enough people understand the importance of spaying and neutering pets, so all too often a litter of several kittens appears at local shelters with no one available to take care of them. Adequate care requires regular vet visits, as well as the ongoing cost of good nutrition and litter care, and with no one to provide these necessities, our kittens would be left to fend for themselves.
Sometimes cats are surrendered when owners are no longer able to care for them due to their own aging, illnes, or unexpected life circumstances.
Sometimes kittens are found abandoned before they are even ready to leave mom, and we provide 'round the clock care, bottle feeding them and standing in as surrogate mother until they are ready to join a new home.
Word of mouth, especially following and liking on Instagram, helps us to reach as many new families as possible so that we can rehome every animal in need.
We also gladly accept donations to help cover the expense of housing, feeding, spaying, neutering, and providing vet care to so many of these loving sweethearts.
If you would like to help sponsor one of our cats, please call or email us. We will send you photos and updates of the cat who benefits from your donation!
Our hand raised kittens get loved and cuddled, and are very friendly when they come to you!
